Have you been in Grand Central? if not, I am pretty sure you have seen it in movies. At least one. Even if you don’t know it.
Did you know that almost every movie that has been filmed at Grand Central Terminal was shot on Track 34? I had no idea and track 35 (which is right next to 34) is where I take the train almost every evening. They always choose this track because it’s one of the few platforms without columns. The track first appeared in color in the 1953 film The Band Wagon, in which Fred Astaire got off a train and danced his way up the platform.

If you have been in New York City and if you have taken photos while you were there, you might want to participate in this New York vs. London photo contest. The winners (3 first) will see their photos published on the cover of Time Out New York City Magazine and they will win (all of them) a trip to London! This is not the only prize though. There will be a weekly prize as well: Each week Samsung will be giving 5 Samsung Galaxy Cameras (you know, it’s the one that has integrated 3G/4G, Wi-Fi and Android 4.1 so you can share your pictures instantly to the social media)!
If you don’ t want to participate you may want to go through the photos people have posted and have a taste of New York City.
